The D4 Series

CCAW D4 Series Mains Pressure / Drain Free water coolers, are designed to provide your home or office with an uninterrupted supply of chilled, cool or hot water.

   - Attaches to your mains water supply.
   - Accomodates a variety of water purifiers.

GENERAL FEATURES

Constant Flow

The waterworks D4 range of Mains Pressure / Drain Free water coolers are designed to provide a continuous supply of cool & cold or hot & cold water to the home or office. They attach directly to the mains water supply and because of the automatic float valve, do not require any bottle replacement or refilling.

Durable Cabinet

Manufactured using high density polyethylene, this cabinet eliminates the problem of rust and provides superior resistance to UV degradation.
The single piece moulded cabinet, allows easy servicing and cleaning, while the convenient ande makes transporting the cooler effortless.

Cold Water Tank

This 3.4 litre stainless steel reservoir provides adequate cold water storage for peak periods and utilises a food grade stratifier plate to maintain energy efficiency.

Hot Water Tank

Manufactured from 304 stainless steel, this 1.5 litre reservoir is thermostatically controlled and if not required, can be switched off using an easily accesible switch at the back of the water cooler.

Float Valve Assembly

This single stage polyethylene float valve assembly, maintains the water level inside the water cooler and shuts off the water supply when the reservoir is full.

Safety Faucet

Designed to strike a balance between user friendliness and consumer safety, the Waterworks D4CH series water coolers, feature a child resistant safety faucet on all of their hot & cold models.

OPTIONAL FEATURES

Filter Bracket & Cover

Designed to compliment your D4 Seris cooler, the D4-HI-KIT, filter bracket and cover is designed to accept a range of filtration options and hide them all under the matching cover which locks into place above the D4 float valve assembly.

Cup Dispenser

D4 series coolers are shown with optional cups and cup dispensers. THe Waterworks CD-2 cup dispenser is easy to operate and reload with any standard sized cup.

GENERAL FEATURES

Rust Proof Cabinet

The RM series water cooler cabinets are made of rota-moulded, pigmented polyethylene. This U.V. stabilised material provides an external cabinet which is durable, modern and 100% rust proof.

Service Access

The front access panel is secured with four (4) concealed screws. Removal of this panel provides access for any purpose including service, maintenance and filter replacement.

Vandal Resistance

The top and basin on the RM Series is a single piece, (not numerous parts screwed together). This, combined with the internally fitted drain grill and the robust nature of polyethylene, provides unequalled vandal resistance.

OPTIONAL FEATURES

Filtration

The internal, in-line filter will reduce sediment, chemicals, organic compounds and impurities which can adversely affect the quality and taste of your drinking water. periodic filter replacement is easily achieved through the front panel.

Two Way Glass Filler

When fitted to the standard, (bubbler only) unit, the 2-way glass filler allows one touch activationfor precise pouringor hands free for continuous flow.

Cabinet Colours

Apart from the standard "metallic" colour, the RM Series water coolers are also available in a myriad of other colour options.
There is also the option of mixing the colours of the front pane and the cabinet to display corporate or sporting teams colours. (Price on application).

Water Inlet

The inlet is an industry standard 1/2" female BSP threaded connection situated on the rear of the cooler, (see installation instructions for exact rough in details).

Drain Outlet

The drain outlet and integrated "P" trap provide an industry standard 40mm connection situated on the rear of the cooler. (see installation instructions for exact rough in details

REFRIGERATION

RP1 and RP2 uses 40 gms of refrigant H134A which is non-toxic, non-flammable and environmentally friendly. Refrigerant flow is controlled by a capillary tube which has no moving parts.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

The thermostat is factory pre-set.

COMPRESSORS

1/16 h.p. capacity, 49 watts. The compressor is hermetically sealed for silent running.

Specifications

Cold Water Reservoir

All dispensers have stainless steel tanks which hold approximately 1.8 litres of chilled water during normal usage. Each has a chilling capacity of 5 l.p.h during peak periods.

Hot Water Reservoir

The hot water tank is of drawn stainless steel and is fitted with a 750 watt heating element. It delivers 65 cups (150 ml) per hour at plus 92ºC.
Hot tanks have drains fitted for easy cleaning and sterilisation. With the aid of "clip on" brackets the tank is easily removed for service (if required).
Each hot tank has its components nechanically swagged together. As no fusion welding is used the occurence of pitting, crevice or galvanic corrosion is prevented.

Refrigeration

The system uses 50 gms of refrigerant H134A. It is non-toxic, non-flamableand non-ozone depleting. Refrigerant flow is controlled by a capillary tube which has no moving parts.

Temperature Control

Cold water - Thermostat is factory pre-set.
Hot water - P3 - State-of-the-art Electronic Thermostat is factory pre-set to 92ºC at sea level.
An "on/off" switch is provided which can be used to isolate the element in the tank.

Compressor
